Question Is Kaytee hamster food bad?

Well I heard that it was bad for your hamster, gerbil etc is this true cause I heard its one of the ingredients and it causes cancer or something like that is this true?

Mmm I don't know about that. The forti-diet seed mix doesn't have enough protein, and both the mix and pellets have added sugar (cane molasses... while having nutritional benefit, it also contains sugar).

It used to contain ethoxyquin so I dont know

If you read the ingredients, it does not contain it now.
