What kind of hamster food do you use?

Mine isnt a seed mix its got protein and lots of vitamins but most of it is grain and pellets and there is seeds in it not a lot though

I feed Aiden seed mix with pellets etc that comes with it along with other extra stuff I put in. And the CHA judge said he was in great health. I think as long as it doesn't play as the majority of the diet it's just fine. The reason I didn't buy Hazel Hamster because it lacked seeds.

Hazel Hamster does have sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and peanuts. I think it's the most balanced diet for hamsters on the market. But you're right, seeds in moderation are fine. I meant the mixes that are primarily seeds like nutriphase.

I use Harry Hamster with a few extras added (kitten biscuits, porridge oats, millet, crackers and mealworms).

I meant it lacks smaller seeds. And the sunflower seeds I will only give to him one a day. I don't see anything wrong with Hazel though, other than the fact is has ingredients I don't permit in Aiden's diet. >.< Otherwise, it seems to be great.

I use harry hamster with herbs, some oats, budgie seed, meal worms, kitten biscuits and linseed, I also limit their sunflower seed and peanuts

I do the same. There are certain things I remove from the mix. I only give sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and peanuts as treats. And I remove most of the corn and peas from the diet for my chubbier dwarf, since he doesn't need any extra sugar in his diet. I also mix in lab blocks, which both my boys seem to love.

My hamster really likes Supreme Scientific Selective - it is a complete diet in little heart shaped biscuits. He was getting very picky with Pets@Home muslie and leaving most of it. When I mixed the 2 foods half and half in his bowl he just ate the SSS biscuits and left the old P@H mix.
