Re: Crunchy nut cornflakes?
He could have the odd flake but not too many as they are quite sweet There are lots of human food you can give but best to give a tiny amount at first and then only a fingernail sized bit once a week.
Welcome

Re: Crunchy nut cornflakes?
I personally wont give anything thats processed for humans, things like cereal are very high in sugar.
There's plenty of veg, nuts, seeds and what have you that you can give. No need for human foods that arent good for them

I give ours the plain Shreddies & Rice Krispies. Another favourite are Bran Flakes. They also like the occasional small piece of cheese.

Ah yes ok, I'm not too sure on giving him some cheese. Might give him a small cornflake later on and perhaps buy some seeds and things for him. He likes monkey nuts alot

I agree. Maybe a little plain yogurt here and there but that's all.

Re: Crunchy nut cornflakes?
I agree with the no-processed comment. It is tempting to give them food we eat but why bother when theres so much that is good for them they can have as a treat? Saying that, Baby rice or porrige (no salt or sugar) in small quantities for a treat seems ok. I eat raw carrots quite a bit so he gets a little bit of carrot off mine when I eat them. I can't resist when he looks out of the cage at me and the little begging paw goes up. I'm weak, I know.
