Default 13-week-old Syrian

I've been trying really hard to find out what he ate before, besides the pre-mix. I don't want to increase things too fast, but am introducing a bit of fruit and veg. How much should I be giving him? It's so long since aai had a young hamster.

Hi Ann, my little boy is about the same age and gets roughly a little fingernail size portion of veg 2/3 times a week. I try not to give fruit as I am conscious of sugar content but occasionally a little piece of fruit doesn't hurt. I don't give anything directly from the fridge either. But I am totally paranoid!
