Default What brand?

What brand is your hamster food?
I am using Pets at Home but Twinkle only picks out the pieces she likes so I am thinking of trying another brand to see if I have more luck

We use the Harry Hamster. It is available at Sainsburys and cheaper at Wilkinsons. The pets @ home muisli has added sugar which is not good for hammies. I beleive that Wilkinsons own is good as is Burgess if you can get it. If you are changing remember do not just do it in one go. Gradually add a little of the new brand each feed till you have made the change. This allows the hamsters gut bacteria to adjust slowly and you will not get diarrhoea.

My hammies get a mix thats homemade, it has a base mix of tesco value hamster food and dried fruit added in with other hamster friendly dried foods. None of it is ever left they eat everything - i used to just give harry hamster and pets @ home mix but so much was being left

I use Harry Hamster for all my guys. Every hamster does have individual tastes so don't get a huge bag to start with of any new food - introduce it slowly and then try to do maybe a fortnight of exclusive new food, limit treats and see how they react.

I use Harry Hamster, but add seeds etc to it as Mayo loves his sunflower and pine seeds.
