Mix for a diabetic hamster?
I'm pretty sure one or both of my boys has diabetes and I was wondering if there's a specific mix which is mostly suitable?
I think I need help with this, being a beginner with hammies, so any help is much appreciated!

Re: Mix for a diabetic hamster?
Im not 100% sure but leaving out things that contain sugar, such as raisins, banana chips, and other fruit.
Also avoid shop bought treats as they have a high sugar content.
On the back of the food bag it should say the sugar content the lower the percentage the better xxx Hope this helps xxx

Re: Mix for a diabetic hamster?
I can't help with the mix but maybe pick up a Diabetes test from your vet first?
