Default Do hamsters eat hay =s

I'm sure hamsters don't eat hay but I just want to double check as our packet of hay had a picture of a hamster on

I think that hay isn't commonly recommended because it can cause harm to their cheek pouches, like possible punctures ect. I have purchased timothy hay that is compressed into small cubes though and they seem to like it, and there is less danger of any sharp pieces doing damage. Here is a picture of it encase you were interested.
