confused?
I was just on the p@h website looking at things to get and i was looking at the treats. The ones like 'wild berry drops' said not suitable for small animals under 4 months old and the 'fruity biscuit mix' said not suitable for small animals under 8 months old. Does anyone know why this is?

Maybe they're more sensitive to sweet things? I don't know though, >.<

well seeing as its [email protected] knows what they are thinking.
As far as i'm aware, whether young, middle aged or old, there isn't any difference to giving sugary treats to hamsters.
Whether the case is the same in rabbits, guinea pigs etc. i do not know.

I can't see why they've given it an age limit? I'd say it was safe to feed.
