I'm switching Pixie onto SS and she likes it so far! I actually don't mind the smell tbh!

It's odd at first I thought they smelled like dog biscuits now they smell more cheesy, I've never given Fudge actual cheese but given her reaction to this it might be a good way to buy some more affection

I'm quite glad they're the first to go as I know at least that she's getting most of what she needs and as she's not big on chewing things (I know right?! What kind of a hammy is she

) I think they'll help her teeth a little...

Just thought i'd update on my lot using this

I've now started mixing it in to their normal food and its gone done fantastic. They have about 3 pellets each day. Everyone is gobbling it down, haven't found one single bit left.
Bacardi has even started eating the rest of the mix better now

I have found that its better to break the pellet in half for the dwarfs though to make it easier for them to pouch.

So I am very pleased with it x

fudge is loving it also, I get her 2-3 a day and they're almost always all gone (sometimes when I put in 3 she'll only eat 2) I feel much happier about her eating now ^_^

Its intersting to see how many hammies are enjoying this, I might give it a go. Boris has been leaving all the biscuit shapes in the HH, the orange and green rounds and the orange cerscent moon shapes too. I am worried that he is not getting all the right nutrients that he needs. I bought some Burgess Superhamster dwarf mix to try mixing in, but he doesnt really seem to be going for that either . . . little pest! Even though it has mealworms in, I thought I was onto a winner there! He will do anything for a mealwormie! This science selective might be worth a try . . . .

We give Obes a mix of harry hamster and science selective and he happily eats both. He can be picky with the harry hamster too (have been thinking about changing brand as well). I cut the quantity recently because there was always so much left in his stash and this helped - may have overdone it though initially 'cos he even ate the alfafa!
