Default Looking for a mix without certain `things` added

Hi Everyone. To cut a long story short, I`m wondering if you guys can shed some light on any hamster mixes that don`t contain:

Alfalfa/lucerne/grass pellets
Sunflower seeds
Peanuts

I know this is probably an impossibility given that the few I used a while back for my Robos and dwarf hamster had all these within it. Namely, harry Hamster and Burgess Supahamster at the time.

Also, does hamster mix include animal proteins? I can obviously look this up on the packets, but I would guess this varies between varieties?

The reason I ask, is that I have two female mice and they have been fed a good rabbit/rat combination for a long time, but I thought that adding a hamster mix to the rabbit mix would be a better solution than adding the rat kibble. The grains will be similar, but the hamster mix may have the better ingredients.

Any information you can add would be great, or if you can say which mixes (if any) are on the market without the above added, I can look into them.

This ticks two of your 3 boxes - Rabbit Food: now on sale at zooplus there's no peanuts or sunflower seeds (thought it does mention "sunflower extraction meal"). I tried it once as an extra for the hams, they ignored the grass pellets of course. It doesn't have animal protein in!

Supreme selective Hamster is all of those things, but there is a mouse one so you wouldn't get the hamster version.

Thanks for that internet! I`ve taken a note of this one and will look up the mouse version. I`m just looking for something different. I add in Burgess Suparat Royale right now (broken up), but thought I would look into hamster mixes that had animal proteins added that could replace the Royale if I thought it was a better substitute. The rabbit mix I use is great for grains, but needs added to with the rat kibble, so hopefully the Supreme mix might be something I can try.

I`ll let you know what I think! Thanks again.

Edited to add: Just looked up Supreme Science Selective and it looks like a kibble? I saw the mouse version too and it has apple added. Something I know will put the girls off as they never did like weird fruits smells! It`s really another grain mix I`m looking for rather than a kibble.

I`ve decided just to stick with what I normally use for now, but I`m removing a few things from the rabbit mix because I don`t like the bright colourings of the `extruded biscuits` and also, remove the maize/corn. This still does`nt dilute the mix as all the yummy grains are still in there aswell as the rat kibble I add. I will hunt around for straight grains to add to this also. I`m going to buy some Flax seed as it`s said to be beneficial in small amounts.
