Default Muesli mix?

Hi, I was wondering what food you feed your hamsters? I have learnt that guinea pigs and rabbits should not ave muesli type foods as it is bad for them, so my lot are on pellets. I hope to get a hamster next year so I was wondering whether they are the same? Do they have mixed food or pellets?

Reason I ask is because sadly my brother's friend's gerbil passed away. They gave me a bag of left over hamster food (do gerbils eat the same thing?) thinking I own hamsters but I have guinea pigs. Anyway, the food is a mix, it's tesco's own: Tesco Hamster Food with Peanuts & Sunflower Seeds (1Kg) in Tesco | mySupermarket

If hamsters are ok with mixed food, could I feed them that??

That muesli looks fine All the gerbils at the rescue where I work are fed hamster food,it's fine for them.I've always wondered why hamsters don't have pellets like rabbits and piggers. There is however a non muesli food made by Science Selective but since it's SS it's quite expensive -
Supreme Science Selective Hamster Food 350g
I'm thinking of switching Gremlin to that but it's not always readily avaliable

I use natures harvest (I think that's what its called - I get it from Sainsbury's). I have found it difficult to purchase harry hamster locally, and didn't want to use the mix from pets at home (although I think its okay - just an additional place to go where buying food etc). I just add extras to the mix to make it more interesting, or if I feel that Issy needs specific treats etc
