Re: Nooooooo- Discontinued??!!!
yeh hugo- typical lol
I have had a reply from sainsburys customer service manager who is going to investigate it further and will let me know. I have told her that a few people across the country are also concerned and that we are finding it hard to find alternative stockists!
On a side note, if sainsburys do discontinue, the large 12 pack from here-
Natures Feast Hamster Food 850g X 12 by Cranswick Pet Products - Amazing Animal Accessories -
I ahve been in email with the company and they contacted their supplier and the sell by date is 2012 so it works out £2.50 a bag (inc the p and p n that) so only few pence more.
perhaps the best alternative x

Re: Nooooooo- Discontinued??!!!
Hello,
Had reply-
"Thanks for your patience while we looked into this for you.
I can confirm that this has been discontinued. We try to sell the widest possible range of products to give our customers maximum choice. However, we can’t stock every item in every store. For each store, our buyers regularly review what we’re stocking and how well it’s selling, to make sure that we are meeting our local customers’ needs.
Occasionally, this means that we withdraw products from some stores if they’re not popular. If enough customers want to see a certain product in their local store, we’ll do everything we can to provide it. With that in mind, I’ve passed your request on to our buyers so they can consider it at their next review.
We do sell Wagg hamster gerbil mouse munch 1kg as an alternative.
I'm grateful for you taking the time to contact us. We look forward to seeing you in store soon."
I said wagg was a poor quality alternative and that unfortunately most of us would probably shop elsewhere. Personally i think i will have to swap my guys. Im trying out harry hamster atm but it seems im paying more than most of you so will have to see. great eh x

Re: Nooooooo- Discontinued??!!!
Oh that is annoying. We are trying ours on Harry hamster too but is not going down too well. We also bought the P@H nuggets today and are trying Daisy on them first. So far she has ignored her food bowl.

Re: Nooooooo- Discontinued??!!!
yeh my lot are picking at the harry hamster tbh...i got a full size bag of selective hamster sent to me from supreme which was a nice suprise but i dont want to put them on a selective diet.
I think if none of ours take then buying the 12 bags would prob be only option x
