Cereals
Well, I've seen people feeding hamsters cereals such as cheerios for an occasional treat but as I don't have any at the moment I wondered if it would be okay to use fruit and fibre instead? It's basically bran flakes with little bits of dried banana and apple. I gave Snickers a small amount and she loved it so just wondered if it's safe to use again?
If not are there any cereals I can give as a treat?

Re: Cereals
Thanks I know certain cereals are too high in sugar for hams but I'm not sure which ones.

Re: Cereals
I once gave a ham a peice of Jordans country crisp, then remembered how fatty and sugary it is and felt too bad to do it again! She loved it though. I figure if it's low in salt, sugar and fat, it might be ok, so I'd reckon bran flakes would be one of the better ones.
