I think it would be safe for them but not 100% sure on that. I've never given it to my boys.

not tryed it with the boys yet!
Used ot buy it for the giant african land snails, its very cheap from pet shops

I will have too try this. Personally i alos feed Millet to my Hamsters sometimes and they seem to love it and have never had any problems.. x
