Guess what i got at the pet shop?

Well my mum left me for like 20 minutes in the pet section while she went to get stuff, so how much temptation does she want to give me?
I had just finished my cabinet cage today...have you guessed yet?

Well yes i got a new hamster!!!

I thought it was impossible to persuade my mum, but turns out she couldn't resist the adorable faces either

I was really undecided between the chinese hams( who had been there for a while

) and the winter white babies, but after holding this beauty i couldn't resist.

I was really impressed with the pet shop, they told me what he was already fed on, to be wary that a pair could fight at 6 months. I didn't expect to be allowed to handle them, but the lady got the whole group out in the sink and let me hold them all.
I was still undecided until this one argente one was super friendly. I was then told he only had 3 legs

So that was it, i knew he was for me!
The pet shop lady told me he was her favourite and was pleased i already had two so had the experience.
Although they were labeled winter white, ww don't come in argente do they? So i assume hes a hybrid.

Well its about time you met him (you'd never know he only had 3 legs)

My mum suggested the name Treo (as in trio, 3) and i'm really liking it.

What happened to his leg? He's a cutie-pie! I think Treo is a great name! Is this one for your cabinet?

i suppose you can see on the last pic his missing leg. Yes they assume it is how he was born, there is no injury/scab or anything.

Lol yh she even said "please don't ask for any more...yet"

And yes hes in my cabinet, he looks kind of lost in the space atm

Not to veer off topic but can I ask what kind of bedding you're using? It looks soft

He is cute BTW. I wouldn't have been able to resist him either!

Oh FM :P thought you were gonna try the rescue hams ....sigh...he is a cutie mind and i suppose his missing leg would put some ppl off...mind you, if i remember rightly you still have a spare cage...

Aaah what a little sweetie!! He is lovely, he must be an intrepid explorer to go on his wheel already. I'm amazed you made it out of the shop with just one ham though!

Don't worry, i assure you the next will be rescue! Apart from if i get Harmony.
and yes i do still have a spare

Will wait until we've moved house and everything first.
