Oh she’s super cute. Really pleased she’s popping out again, I’d just keep chatting to her as you were, feed a few treats and looking at this clip, I think you’ll be back to where you were in the taming process fairly quickly.

Here's hoping, I tried putting my hand in today and got a warning nibble. But she isn't hunting it or biting, so hopefully she's almost done being peeved. I tried the hamster taxi, and she just sniffed at it then went back to her wheel.

It's just so weird she's been like this all week, Cupcake is such a boisterous & adventurous hamster normally.

You could try putting a treat in the hamster taxi. Maybe she'll walk in then. A change of surroundings may take her mind off of whatever she's miffed about.

No luck today, but no nibbles either. She also moved her tunnel to face her old wheel, so Cupcake seems to be happy that's back. Also caught her snacking in her new favorite spot, she likes to pop out of the tunnel there.

Another Sighting

She’s looking pretty relaxed, hopefully whatever’s spooked her is now passing. Sounds positive with no nibbles today. I’d just go slow and keep offering the out of cage time, as she always enjoyed it so much.

Cupcake finally interacted with me today, for a good 10 seconds xD She hopped on my hand, turned around so her butt faced me, took a pumpkin seed and burrowed away with it.

It's been about 10 days, but glad she's warming up again.

Hamsters are funny little things and can be impossible to work out sometimes. At least she's acknowledging your existence again.
