I will tell you guys how his birthday was tomorrow as I have had a super busy day of school, volunteering and seeing family, not forgetting celebrating Jasper's birthday (obviously the main event of the day

) and now I am exhausted and it is 1 am. Yay. And I have a History essay tomorrow.

. He wasn't actually that bothered about the tart! He has pouched a few bits, but I think he'd rather have a huge pile of sunflower seeds. He really has me wrapped around his paw and jumping through hoops for him.

I used one of VanillaHamHam's recipes from YouTube but swapped the strawberry for red pepper. Maybe Harvey would like it?

). I will attach photos tomorrow I promise, I'm too tired now. The red pepper tart was inspired by VanillaHamHam's tutorial, like I mentioned above.

. He has more treats than he knows what to do with, so I don't think he will be demanding for a few days, or until he runs out of sunflower seeds!

It's fine lol. It's embarrassing for me rather than personal, but I do have a couple of clips uploaded of Jasper on there. I think I attached the links to this thread at some point, so you may have to look for it on here, because it is unlisted on my channel (basically you can only watch it if you have the link).

By the way guys, I am currently trying to export the birthday photos to my laptop, to resize them and upload them, but iPhoto is being temperamental. Fingers crossed I can upload them soon.

I told you guys I'd give you the details, so here I am. So Jasper had a wonderful birthday! We opened his presents together while he demonstrated how to use them. He had his birthday tart, which he wasn't a huge fan of. One of my friends kindly made him a little birthday card and there is a photo of him posing with it. Jasper also had some extra treats and things.

He really likes his new wheel and Leif house. Unfortunately, I can't put them in yet because he is still in his travel cage at my Mum's but he gets playtime with them. He didn't really like the Sticklettis, so I will probably give those away to my other friends who have hamsters. I accidentally bought the huge Sputnik so I may have to give that away as well, as it won't fit in his travel cage and it is probably too heavy for the mesh on his DIY cage, plus it would take up far too much floor space. Jasper had a nice little climb on the wooden climbing frame, so that's good. It was very cheap as well. I think I'm going to put treats on it for him to climb up to. I guess that's it. Now time for the best part. PHOTOS!!!

LJ looks so sweet in his wheel & looks like he was having fun with his presents, shame he wasn't a huge fan of the tart or the Sticklettis but I'm sure he appreciated the thought all the same

Maybe you could use the big sputnik for out of cage time? Plenty of room to stuff it full of substrate or tissue & hide a few treats for him to find.
I used to put food or treats on the climbing frame for mine too, good exercise climbing up there to get it!

Love the pic with him on the climbing frame and his nose on the little bell.

It's a shame he didn't like his tart or the sticklettis. Mine didn't seem interested when I first gave them a piece either but they love them now.

I'm glad you and LJ both enjoyed his birthday. The card your friend made was really nice. It was lovely of LJ to pose for a photo with it
