Just recently I got another hamster Cloudis (I haven't had a hamster in 2 years) He is a winter white dwarf hamster and oh so sweet! I had another winter white dwarf hamster (Donavan) but it wasn't really nice But Cloudis couldn't be more different he loves to be held and played with It is so true that no two hamster are the same.
I know that older hamsters aren't as active and tend to sleep a lot more. If he is fully grown then its harder to tell - did you get him from a pet store? Generally they dont tend to be more than 2 - 3 months old from the hammies Ive come accross, and usually if they are the pet store staff know (as most of them get sold when they are only a few weeks old).
