Default Hamster Noises

Hi everyone, Just a little question, I always thought that hamsters where generally silent, but my hamster (WW) often makes little sort of clucking sounds? I can't describe it, and it's not loud but he does it when he is investigating things and snuffling around.
And also, I hope this isn't a silly question, but is it normal that when he is sleeping, (he always sleeps curled in a ball on his feet) he rocks a little bit? I think that might be his breathing and he is a totally happy hamster, he is never upset or annoyed or confused! Just wanted to ask, thanks!

Clicking is normal, it can be a sign of a few things but if he's exploring and seems happy then he's probably clicking contentedly. A few of ours often click when happy and Geiger was even named for it
Clicking can be a warning but that tends to go hand in hand with body language that reinforces it. When we've had clicks from an angry/unhappy ham their body language is always very clearly telling us they're not happy and we should give them peace and quiet for a while. Angry clicking and happy clicking are really different sounds, but its hard to explain the difference over the internet.

My hamster (Chinese) also makes a clicking sound, but I'm not sure if it's the happy or the angry one. Normally, it's when I pick her up out of her cage, but I haven't noticed any body language showing that she is upset. She normally just carries on moving around on my hand. Would this be because she is happy to get out of the cage, or mad that she got picked up?

Mine doesn't click yet.

Getting radio reception would also be awesome.

I did try him in the ball, using headphones to play a youtube of a hamster squeaking while playing, and Im pretty sure he answered it a couple times with a chirp or two, though.....

Artsy Hammy if she doesn't seem distressed and is just wandering around then its probably the happy clicking. Our hybrid Geiger always clicked when she was wandering around on humans and it was just her showing she was happy

Skeever, not all hams click. Given what I've heard of Ziggy I reckon if he does anything it'll be something far more fun than clicking lol
