Added a new Ham to the family!

About a month or so ago I got my first hamster, Pavel, who is a dwarf winter white. He is now almost fully grown (about 4-5 months old) and he's pretty independent, but loves to come out to run all over myself and my boyfriend. He prefers human obstacle courses to the floor apparently!

And today I brought home another little one. He is also a DWW, but he's special. Working for PetSmart I am used to seeing animals who are sick occasionally, but this little guy broke my heart. We don't know if he just has inner ear problems or is mentally disabled but, either way, I fell in love with him. He tilts, and falls over some, but he is a sweetheart.

By my math I think he's about 3ish months now.

Looking forwards to the pics. It's so sad when they ill or just not been bred right so they have disabilities

Sounds like he's got neurological issues to me, it's a risk with hybrids (he's unlikely to be a pure bred WW if he's from Petsmart, whatever the labels say). Can't wait for pics of the little guy though!

I'm sorry to hear he has problems but with a new mummy like you he'll have a wonderful life.
