My Princess is now a Prince!

Just gave a health check to my WW ' Princess' I had been wondering if she was sexed correctly for a while.
WW are notoriously difficult to sex when they are younger, Princess especially.2
But today 'her' balls have finally droped!!

So my Princess is now my Prince !! Bless him!!

Will have to get used to the name change and male pronouns!

Just thought I'd share as it made me laugh

lol we've had something like that, except in our case it was "its a boy" and "they're boys", me getting suspicious and eventually confirming that actually, 5/6 of those we'd thought were male were female.
Was a bit frustrating with Whizz - From the start I'd kept thinking "she" but convinced myself to call her "he" and then had to go back to "she" again lol

Ha Its funny isn't it.

I got a trio of Robo's from p@h about 5 years ago now, they were girls, but then there balls dropped !! :P
So i had Cheri, tallulah & Blossom !! haaa

lol yeah, it was P@H we got ours from. Its hit the stage where their inability to sex rodents just makes me giggle now though

I was in there yesterday getting bedding & in th adoption bit there were two degus.

They were mating...... I said you sure they are both males? He said yeah we checked them, I asked if i could sex them for him. He let me, One was a male one a female.

I told him not to rehome the female until you knew for sure she isnt pregnant.

I couldnt believe it, he was cross that i proved him wrong. I said to him he needs correct training in sexing the animals! Really annoyed me so i complained. Got free 60ltr carefresh bedding & 12 Corns.

lol I've told them they need to train staff to sex animals better too actually. It was during the debate over if feeding hybrids and chinese hams apple was a great idea or not (they're feeding them giant chunks and it seems absurd when those are prone to diabetes)... It got off topic and their inability to sex animals cropped up...

Am glad you got free stuff out of it though, I just got so annoyed I've refused to set foot in the store since and won't be doing so until a good few months after I post them proof about chinese and hybrids being prone to diabetes lol

When we got Muffin to keep Whizz company (before the debate thats left me not going in the store) the woman actually said for me to sex her myself if we needed it to be a set sex. Am glad she said it since I was going to either way lol

I am looking at getting a Job their myself!

I will be more qualified than a manager as they need a minimum level 2 in Animal management.

I currently have a Level 3 (A level) Going onn to HND Animal care.

Its ridiculous I think the staff should have atleast a Level 2 and manager a Level 3 by law!!

Makes me so angry.

I tried going for a general job there twice, got to the assessment evening both times but I think knowing about and caring about pets will stop you getting to work there.
Knowing better than the current staff never seems to be a great thing (on my last assessment evening I asked a few queries I probably shouldn't have and knew full well I'd not get it after those lol).

Oh and don't get me started on their "training" and "qualifications"... You really don't want to get me started there lol

lol it'd probably be the safer idea, I asked if they were trained to sex animals and why no cages sold in-store meet the RSPCA guidelines about hamster cages the second time...

And nah, I'd just be ranting about one woman really, the others aren't quite so bad.
