omg! That face and pose! ) Have you noticed that the WW's seem to make a lot of cute poses and they sit up on their back legs like that more? I haven't had RC or Chinese, but my WW does it a lot more than my syrians, and my robos rarely sat like that if ever!
Lovely Lucy, you know you are adored in the pompom house, and you are as pretty as ever gorgeous girl. We send you big but gentle squishes, all ten of us! xx
Lucy is here to demonstrate some of her skills in being an excited explory hamster! She might be skinny and eat funny soups, but she does not slow down for a minute!
Mind you, this is the same lady who used to be like this
vast majority of the time last summer

I really enjoyed watching you rush around and play, and Dusty, Scruff, Timmy and Bump are all quite impressed with your attempts to clamber out of the playpen, they struggle to do as well as you and they have friends to climb on!
Thank you--she does look a bit more filled out lately. Her fur looks kinda shaggy though. I don't know if it's due to her restricted diet and / or kidney condition and / or age (approximately 1 year and 5 months now). So far so good though!

She's doing well still, looking even rounder--far less skinny than she looked a few months ago. I think it might be due to water retention, but not sure. Anyway, she's acting perfectly healthy at least. Still her cheeky ladylike self. Here she is stuffing her face with pellets and puffed grains after a cage clean out and then having some fresh soup!
