I love how Scottie has to guard his things and ensure you put them back to his liking. It is so cute.

Scottie's wheel banged on the bars last night so i got up to sort it.

Scottie stayed in his wheel while i did that and then continued running when i was finished!

Hamsters are as glued to their wheels as some humans are to their televisions.

That was so brave of Scottie! Lol I love the comparison of hamsters loving wheels as much as humans loving TV!

Scottie chewed the bars impatiently just now when i was a bit slow handing the mealworm over! He was on his nibble stick when i called him and he came over but wanted to get back to it i think.

Love that he’s checking the items you’ve put back and letting you adjust his wheel while he’s still on it, that’s brilliant!. Great photos of him free roaming he looks adorable.

Scottie's HH was getting a bit miffy so i took everything out including Scottie. He sat behind the bathroom bin eating his packed lunch of sunflower seeds while i sorted everything out.
Found the source of the musky smell and should have known better. One of the tubes had been peed in. I normally exchange one at a time but replaced two with clean ones today since i had the cage out.
Once finished Scottie walked into his taxi mug and inspected everything. He was ever so good.
I put colourful Carefresh on top of the Kaytee but his place looks like a paintbox now.
I had no blue rings left when i exchanged the tubes so used the cerise rejects. Sorry Scottie. I'll wash the blue ones and sort them another day.
