It's a lovely photo of Scottie - he looks so fluffy! He just liked it how it was

. I do think robos communicate well with their looks and head gestures.

This morning Scottie tried to climb out of his cage!

I held his mug in and he immediately climbed in so i put him in the bathroom with the door closed and quickly set up a playground in the hall.

Scottie had a very good run around and explored all the toys.
When he had enough he let me know so i picked up a tube he was in and tipped him onto my lap, picked him up and stroked him for a bit which was lovely for me and he didn't seem to mind.

I knew that he was at his most receptive for interaction in the morning but this took me by surprise.

Oh brilliant! Lucky Scottie. My robo Rafferty is always up in the morning now a days (since being moved to his hamster heaven cage in fact).

He likes a bit of lettuce to start the day x

Scottie has become more confident since i moved his Hamster Heaven to the bedroom. Could be because its easier for me to sit by his cage chatting to him with his door open. Last night my face was almost inside his HH but he just carried on hamstering about.

I love barred cages with big front doors for any species of hamster.

What cage did Rafferty live in before you moved him in his Hamster Heaven?

I offered him his taxi every few evenings for the last month or so and he sniffed and hovered around it but didn't walk in. Since i moved his HH to the bedroom and could comfortably sit next to it chatting when he was up, he has become more confident.

Our four Syrians climb out of their front door every evening i'm home but for a Robo it is special to make this move.

Aside from the fact that i'm happy that Scottie had a good time out, i'm also ever so flattered that he showed this level of trust.
