Exclamation Normal New Robo Behaviour?

Hello! I just got my Robo hamster Star on wednesday it is saturday now, I have accidentally interacted with her as I wasn't being patient. The only thing is that she rarely spends any time outside of her burrow. I was wondering if this is normal for a new robo and if she will emerge from her burrow more when she settles and roughly how long that takes?
Thank you!

Yes that's perfectly normal for any hamster. Robos are by nature often more shy than other species so you need to stock up on patience, lots of it.

It's not possible to put a time scale on anything because it depends on the personality of the individual hamster.

She will eventually spend more time on the surface and become more confident as she gets older.

Update: After leaving her for a few days and putting new toilet paper in there every day with my scent on it and talking to her softly, she took two treats from my fingers tonight very happy with her and so proud that were starting to bond.

That's amazing that she's taking treats from your fingers already and huge progress.

Well done! Had our Robo about a month now and the most progress I have made is he came out of hiding as far as the end of a treat (which was a 1” stick) and sniffed the far end but wouldn’t take it snd ran off again.
