Say hello to Pip (Aka Pipkin)
So our new Robo arrived today. All went smoothly. He is absolutely tiny! Much smaller than Nugget was - but may still have some growing to do - he’s about 4 or 5 months old. He also seemed a lot less nervous than Nugget was. He seemed to enjoy being in a play bin (transferred there from a pet carrier when brought to us). And those are the only photos so far. He went through the kitchen roll tube a few times so took that opportunity to pick up the tube with my hands over the end and let him walk into his cage. Where he went straight into the labyrinth house. Might not see much of him now till settled! But have the hamstercam on 24/7 so might catch a few glimpses if he’s shy at first. He didn’t seem that shy though.

Saying hello to Pip! Pip where are you? Did you get lost in your mansion already? It will take a while to sniff your way around a Plaza. You'd better get some rest first.
You are a very very lucky Robo to find yourself where you are now. You'll see. Enjoy!

It's quite surprising how much Robos differ in sizes.
I wasn't aware of that until i fostered and rehomed so many of them. Also, some have bare feet and some have furry feet.

Re: Say hello to Pip (Aka Pipkin)
Interesting. I thought they all had furry feet - will check when I get chance. I just realised how Pipkin sounds similar to Pickle lol. But it's Pip really and so far it's come out as "little Pip" so that's probably what he'll get called most of the time. Whereas Pickle is Ickle Pickle. Which stepson commented sounded like Iggle Piggle from CBeebies (maybe that's why it comes out as Ickle Pickle - a subliminal thing from Cbeebies days).
Anyway no sign of Little Pip as yet but he's had a long day. The rescue told me he was quite angry at being woken up early today!
He didn't seem the slightest bit fazed by walking out of a pet carrier into a box in the sunny fresh air, or by being in the box. Maybe it's been a bit of an interesting adventure.
Stepson has gone from a grumpy "whatever" to mildly interested - partly because OH was quite interested. Still trying to think of a pet for him. He doesn't want a lizard. He wants something to cuddle.

Re: Say hello to Pip (Aka Pipkin)
Thank you Souffle. I wonder if it will perk Pickle up knowing there's another hamster.

Something doesn't have to have fur to be cuddly. I've cuddled a big bearded dragon and i'm not referring to my OH.
