Phew, pleased you managed to get Pip back in his cage quickly. Little tinker, perhaps he was being nosey and didn’t mean to slip right out, he may have surprised himself. Just as well you had a soft landing near by.

Oh no! I so understand the panic when a Robo gets out. They are so so fast and hard to catch. Lucky he's fond of cucumber.

I can tell you it was not a nice moment! And it was late at night and I had visions of being up all night and not finding him.

I have this giant cushion on the floor in front of the cage just in case anything like that ever happened but I never thought Pip would try and get out! I think since his out of cage time he is maybe a bit more adventurous. I didn't even see him! Sometimes he runs up his ladder when the door is open so could have fallen out doing that but I'd have seen him - he just seemed to come from nowhere until I heard the plop. I could see this white ball shaped thing out of the corner of my eye which I thought was a screwed up tissue at first - and then it moved!

Oh gosh! You must have been so scared. Luckily your quick thinking caught him. Smart idea having the large cushion in front of the cage just in case.

Pip is getting very adventurous!

It's so scary when robos go on their own little adventures. Niko was very human orientated so would come back to me. When Ares went walkies it was a completely different scenario. Complete panic. I'm so glad you managed to get Pip back!
