Emergency Rescue Robo
This little guy was living outside in a combi 1 in filth,I have never seen such a dirty cage with no food, He had clearly been like that for a while, He was practically thrown at me he was that unwanted, His fur is dyed underneath from pee, and as greasy as a chip, I just binned that cage, he is now being fostered by us in a 2ft aquarium, when I placed him in the aquarium he was that excited to be free you could see his joy, he has a sand bath in the aquarium, after his excitement had died down a bit that's were he went for a good bath. We have not named him, suggestions would be appreciated he looks like an old man lol.

Re: Emergency Rescue Robo
Aw, bless him. He looks like he's enjoying his wheel. Glad he's landed on his paws with you and I hope you have many happy times together.

So glad you found him & he'll now have the good life he deserves.
He does look like he's enjoying his new wheel, plenty of go in him lol!
I see what you mean about him looking like a little old man bless him, I'm hopeless at naming other people's hams but I think he rather looks like a Gandalf

Re: Emergency Rescue Robo
How horrible people can be, well done you for the rescue..!
I think you should call him "Smiley" as he is obviously happy with his lot right now, and he reminds me of George Smiley from John LeCarre's novels

Re: Emergency Rescue Robo
I saw him advertised outside in his filthy cage. He looked bad on the photo but it was worse when I collected him. Just couldn't leave him in that state

Re: Emergency Rescue Robo
That's awful. Some people are just *bleep*. So glad you've brought him home. Thank goodness he's not living like that any more. (I'd be tempted to call him Stig - a) because robos are so fast like Stig from Top Gear and b) because he's been living in filth like Stig if the Dump )

Re: Emergency Rescue Robo
After some thought we have named this little guy George. From studying George I think he's an older hamster so he is going to stay here with us to live out his days. Thank you for your suggestions.

Re: Emergency Rescue Robo
George has been lucky getting a home with someone who cares about his needs. Well done on the adoption.
