Re: Meet Daisy and Lily!
Sorry I haven't posted on here for a while, I've been getting lots more homework than expected recently so haven't had much time for anything else, however I'll try to be on here at least every day.
The girls are doing really well and have settle down into their new cage very nicely. Unfortunately I don't think I'll bet get them game enough to handle them but I should be grateful that I can feed them treats and stroke them
I tried them with chicken and broccoli for the first time yesterday evening and they LOVED it! Lily mainly hogged it all because she seems to be bigger and more dominant ham, but Daisy managed to get some too
I've also started to scatter feed the girls as I don't think their energy is fulfilled by bowl-feeding, and they seem very up to it so far

Re: Meet Daisy and Lily!
So glad Daisy & Lily enjoyed their chicken & brocolli. Harvey so loves that too!
Good they're enjoying the new cage too.

Re: Meet Daisy and Lily!
Sorry I haven't posted on the girls' thread recently, I've been so loaded with homework I haven't really had much time for anything else lol
So at the end of September I did a cage clean for the girls, but, with them being a pair, I didn't clean out everything as this can triggger fights.
So first I scooped out their pee corners and replaced them with clean bedding, and then took their wheels and hideaways and their plastic tunnel and cleaned them with warm soapy water.
I also tried them with some Brussels sprouts and, typically, they took a bite and spat it out

Re: Meet Daisy and Lily!
Lol! at the cheeky girls spitting out Brussels sprouts. Sounds like the cage clean went well.
