Default Nightsun antics

I have decided that Nightsun hates being photographed more then being held. Even with a southfacing window in my room with the ceiling fan I manage to keep my room on the cooler side. Well Nightsun has been making all kinds of sounds even chirping... he normally is quiet and I have almost as good hearing as he does. I got him a year ago and he was the runt of the babies at the time. He also got stuck(?) Hanging half in half out of his food dish eating. Normally he just climbs into the 3" dish to eat, after all it fits 2 of him, when he was small it fit three of him.
Well I found out what was his problem... the little guy is in need of some company of the female sort. He started humping the smooth wood near his water bottle using the spout as a hold on. I noticed because of the racket he was making. Not sure how loud he is but I have super hearing so to me it sounds loud... he was watching me watch him... then he drank water and disappeared somewhere in his pink cage (I got this cage as it was perfect for a baby robo, color is so what... Just cute

Nightsun sounds lovely and what fantastic hearing you have I was wondering whether they roborovskis talked when you put this up.
I haven't heard my girls but having had gerbils for 7 years and hearing them chirp up to a year (when the pitch gets to high it did make me wonder.

Oh he definitely chirps and talks I have had him for a year and so he is a bit over a year old. He walked straight onto my hand instead of running away. I still have to retrain him after the houseowner cat managed twice to get in my room though the door was closed and knock down the cage.
So he isn't eating like he normally does and looks thin and not all fluffy, I wonder why.
