Eating bedding??

My robos seem to be eating or pouching ripped up tissue paper I used for an extra bit of bedding. Is this just them moving it to where they want it or are they actually trying to eat it? Is this normal? Btw it is not scented just plain I made sure.

Yes that is fine, Nelly pouches the tissue before taking it to her bed. Stuffs so much in it makes me feel like gagging! But she manages it

Sometimes they will try and eat a bit, which is so important it's a substance that breaks down and can be digested, so loo roll is ideal for that. Quite often they will pouch it to take it wherever they want their nest, totally normal. It's how they carry anything, not just food

Or in Sweep's case, instead of pouching his bedding to move it, he just digs under it in the hope it will move himself! Then if it doesn't, he kind of pulls it along to where he wants it! I've got a funny little one here LOL
