Yuki!
Making a thread for my little robo Yuki. Adopted her from P@H as all of her litter mates had been sold and for some reason Yuki hadn't been sold so they moved her over to the adoption centre. When I saw her I had to have her, she's gorgeous and tiny. She's my first robo and I can't believe how curious and nosy she is, she's always out exploring and if she hears me putting food etc in she pops her little head out to have a look. She's such a fun little ball of energy too, I can't wait until she's settled in so I can see her personality come out. Any ideas on her age? The woman at P@H said she's quite young (maybes 6-8 weeks?) but didn't know her exact age, any help/advice would be appreciated!

Re: Yuki!
She's gorgeous! I do love a robo. They are so funny. And they do seem to pop out in the day more to see what's going on. So although they are more of a "watching" pet there is plenty to see them do ![](https://www.hamstercentral.com/community/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif) Can't help you with age i'm afraid but I look forward to seeing how she progresses.

Re: Yuki!
Congratulations on your Roborovski.
She does look to have a young face in the biggest photo so I’d agree with the shop that she’s not probably not older than 8 weeks old though it's impossible to age for sure from photos.
Best wishes and hope she settles in well.

Re: Yuki!
I agree velma, I was very surprised when I put food in and she came out, especially since this is only her second day. I've had my hybrids for two months now and they don't even come out when I put food of new toys in for them
And thank you amie ![](https://www.hamstercentral.com/community/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif) I think she looks very young too, she's incredibly small

Re: Yuki!
Such a cute little hammy
I remember when my robos were that tiny ![](https://www.hamstercentral.com/community/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif) They are seven months old now.
As many people say they are watching pets, i managed to tame Jenny and she happily sits on my hand/lap and munches something. It's totally different with Sarah, she just doesn't want to be tamed .

Re: Yuki!
Haha Yuki says thank you
I'm hoping I can tame her, even if it's just her feeling slightly more comfortable around us I'll be happy. I've seen some videos etc on YouTube where people have tamed their robos and their robos are sitting on their hands eating. She seems friendly in a sense, she comes out when we're around and looks at us, I'm looking forward to trying to tame her lol.

Re: Yuki!
Hector will sometimes walk onto my hand if I hold it in his playtub. And he'll take a sunflower seed from my palm. He's happy to take sunflower seeds I hold out for him. And after one becomes looking for more ![](https://www.hamstercentral.com/community/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif) I had a blip where he stopped doing it because s new cage was freaking him out but now he's back in his smaller cage he's back to normal. Except he's found his voice & squeaks at me now

Re: Yuki!
Aww that sounds lovely! ![](https://www.hamstercentral.com/community/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif) I've had no luck with hand feeding my hamsters ![](https://www.hamstercentral.com/community/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif) Although my two hybrids are very tame and lovely (well for the most part they are), they will crawl all over me and walk into my hands, but they just won't take treats off me no matter what the treat is or whether its in their cage or out, they just refuse and turn their noses up at it.

Re: Yuki!
I like the photo setup. I have to figure out how to do that. ![](https://www.hamstercentral.com/community/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif) She is adorable. I love Robo faces. The eyebrows...I love the eyebrows.

Re: Yuki!
I have an app on my iPad DrKMcK ![](https://www.hamstercentral.com/community/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif) I have to put the photos like that when I upload them from my iPad because it won't let me add more than one attachment and when I put the URL from a website it doesn't work either ![Confused](https://www.hamstercentral.com/community/images/smilies/confused.gif) .
I love the eyebrows too ![](https://www.hamstercentral.com/community/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif) My boyfriend said some of them look like they've got mustaches lol
