Re: is there any difference beteween female and male
I've never had Robo's, but the Syrians I've found males to be more laid back and easygoing than females. Robos could be completely different though.

I've actually found that the female are alot more braver, they are alot less likely to peg it away from you when you stick your hand in the cage. That's just my experience though!

not really robos don't smeel as much as syrians I think, so even if they do you won't really notice.
I've got males and females that do that as well katzilla though sometimes I think its partly about the layout of the cage or the group/ pair they are in. lets just say that I will never fully understand robos!

Re: is there any difference beteween female and male
My males have been allot more timid, and i do find that my single male seems to smell allot more than my entire group of 7...
He has a sort of mouse wee smell to his cage ..or this might sound odd but chicken soup.

I totally agree! Robos are finicky things...! When I had an entire litter of females a few months ago I found them really easy to tame. It will be interesting if Teacake has had any sons to see if they tame as easily!
Ness, in your opinion what makes a robo more timid: a cage with lots of hidey holes or a cage with nowhere to hide? I try to find the right balance but it aint easy! x
