Elain, Ylanen & Paige Update
It seems ages since I have posted about my Robos and it seems unfair to let the Syrians steal all the limelight so here they are, my Robos, looking healthy and becoming more and more tame.
They are a lot calmer now, handling them everyday has helped a lot. I handle them whenever I can and because they are more active during the day than the Syrians they have been getting loads of attention.
There will be more photographs soon, hope you like them

stupid question, I see you have a millet spray in there, do Syrians like them too?? I used to get them for my cockateal never considered hamsters might like them, makes me wonder what other treats I am unaware of
they are adorable, I never really realised how small they would be
think I still like bigger hamsters though, but they are adorable
glad they are more tame

Aw, I love robo pictures
Are you able to tell them apart yet? It takes me a few seconds to work out whos who between Lola & Shirley. Merry & Pip are very different though and of course live separately so it's not a problem!
Nooboo - millet sprays are great for Robos and dwarves. The smaller seeds are excellent and all mine have loved them. I've never tried them with a Syrian - I don't see why not though.
Dog biscuits are a good hammy treat that might not be too obvious. A good point to mention - treats that are designed for hamsters - honey chew sticks, chocolate/yoghurt drops and the like, are generally NOT good treats for hamsters at all!

Such cute pictures! My Roborovski always seem to have what looks like wet spot on his head hehe, he likes to run under his water bottle. I really love the cage you have for them. That's a UK model isn't it? do you know where I might find one, and here in the US? or maybe have one sent from the UK? they are nice.. but maybe I'll stick with bins hehe.
My Roborovski loves millet. My Syrian Gerald didn't seem to care much, but I gave him a small peice the other day and he took it into his little igloo house. I know my gerbils love it and so does my lovebird

Candace - the cage setup I have for the Robos is a large Gabber tank, I think
I got the cage with the Robos from Morag so she'll be able to give you more info on it, I'm sure you can get them in the US I guess it's just a case of tracking them down. They are really good, large so the Robos have plenty room to play, Molly's actually in one exactly the same, she had to be moved into one because of her constant bar biting causing her hair on her nose to go bald, poor girl.
nooboo - there are many treats that you can give your Syrian that I was unaware of, for example dry Ready Brek. The Syrians love it!

Candace the cages are Italian Gabber Criceti Rex I also have Lux versions. They are often available on eBay UK. I believe you are slowly getting more Italian brands in USA such as Ferplast and Marchioro
