LOL I agree

I've ordered a small silent spinner for Rosberg as he's not heavy enough to power the 8in wheel which we got for Pixel and Inch and so far hasn't been able to work out how a fs should work (he just runs towards the middle then sits there confused).

I'm slightly less worried about his repetitive behavior now, as otherwise he seems healthy and happy. He cleans him self (even seems to do this in his sleep), he seems to eat well and is drinking ok. I think this running is just his way of burning of energy as he's not had a wheel. After all wheel running itself is ultimately a repetitive behavior!

My wife weighed him at the weekend, I'm not sure quite how accurate our scales are but he came out at just 20g which seems about right when we compare his size to inch who is 30g and Pixel 36g. Any body know if this is right for a 3 month old Robo? Or is there any foods we should be supplementing his diet with to beef him up a bit ?

Awww he's so adorable! Sounds like he will be on the small side. I've have 4 robos that are around 20g at around 3 months of age, and they've now settled around 24-26g.

Glad to hear he's settled down a bit, my Smores also paced for a couple days after she came home with me, which had me worried quite a bit. But seemed like it was just the stress of being in a new environment, and in a few days she settled and the pacing stopped.

Thanks Biscotti, I'm glad to hear that 20g isn't that unusual, he just looks so tiny compared with Pixel and Inch! : )

Really glad to hear his behaviour was nothing to worry about, it will just have been the big change, and realising that actually he's in a really nice place no can sometimes take a couple of days.

His weight is ok, he may well have lost a little coming to you as weight is often the first thing to change in robos when they are stressed, again hopefully settling down will mean he can continue his normal growth as he does have a way to go yet before he's fully grown

Thanks Poms. Pixel and Inch came to me when they were 6+ months, so I wasn't sure what was 'normal' for 3 months.

Interestingly he doesn't pouch much food. Pixel and Inch just hoover the entire cage moments after we sprinkle food for them, currently however, rosberg only seems to take what he needs. I think I might give him a bowl rather than sprinkling the food, as he's alone I'm not concerned about any territorial issues and that will help me keep an eye on what he's eating.

My wife saw him running on the flying saucer for the first time last night, which I'm pleased about, although I'll be less happy if the silent spinner I ordered for him is redundant by the time it arrives.

Just a quick post to say Nico's been great over the weekend, he's hardly displayed any repetitive behavior at all!

Also Nico Rosberg was clearly an inspired name, he's really fast on his flying saucer now he's got to grips with it. Only trouble is he seems to be able to out run it!!

Thus:

He's not quite got to grips with the silent spinner, he stops dead and then ends up doing loop-de-loops!!!

Weighed Nico again tonight and he's still only 20g, I think he's always going to be little : )
