Default Argh!!! Bad parenting!

I've just spent the last 10 minutes chasing one of Bruce's daughters round my living room. I'm exhausted!! (and filthy from shifting so much furniture around and crawling about round the back of cupboards and on the floor. The stress of it all! I managed to catch her in the end but only by hanging on to a little leg very tightly (I was so worried that I'd break it)...luckily she's fine. Phew!

Bruce has never been tamed as she was petshop ham and gave birth very quickly after she arrived here. Her babies started off being fairly tame, but now I've split the 2 boys out and her 2 daughters have stayed with Bruce, the girls are basically copying their mum who is setting a bad example! Bruce's two little sons (away from Bruce's "run!!" classes) are super tame and happily climb onto my hand and are very interested when I go near them or speak to them. Its quite frustrating! Unfortunately, I think exactly the same thing will happen with Sylvester and her daughters as she is another untame petshop ham.

Has anyone any ideas to solve this? Obviously I'll continue working on the girls and I'm sure they'll settle down eventually but it seems such a shame that they're being "led astray" by their mothers as the little boys are such friendly robos now.

Hiya,

i think the only way you are going to solve this is to tame bruce and the other mother - then the babies will learn from them.

The only other solution is to split the daughters from their mothers - but i understand that you probably dont want to do this and make the mothers lonely - unless you introduce the two mothers to each other and let them live together wild, lol!

and put all of the daughters from both litters into the same cage and tame them all together.

So unless you want to do the above, you really need to tame the mothers so that the babies learn from them - which is probably going to be quite difficult because of their age!

Hope i have been some help,

Tammy x
