Default Baby Roborovskis Expected!!!

Hi Eveyone,

I shouldnt really be telling you all this before i let the people on my long waiting list know first, lol! but i couldnt contain myself any longer!!

I have four breeding pairs set up at the moment, more than usuall for me actually, it just worked out that way - one pair has been together since early last year and no babies yet , i set up two myself early this year, and then i got my new male from Andrew at Alcester which had come from imported lines from Finland - so ended up with four breeding pairs when i paired him up with one of my females which was born late last year!!

Anyway, noticed last night that the female which is in with Andrews male, looked very big, so i was definately expecting a litter when i woke up this morning, but no, she is still very big, she is absolutely huge!! I took some photos last night becasue she was so big - i couldnt believe she hadnt had them this morning!!

I am going to get some more pics of her tonight and then i will post both sets of pics for you all to see

I never tell anyone waiting for them before they are actually born, just incase - so keep it to yourselves for now, lol!!

Tammy x

P.s. need to tell Andew too!!

Sounds good Tammy. I've never seen baby robos before so you have to post as many pics as possible (once they are old enough).

I won't tell anyone

How exciting Tammy - I agree with Mollz, piccies as soon as it's safe to take them, please

I have seen a litter of baby robos (at Bradford) and it's one of the most scrumptious things I've ever seen!

Congratulations Tammy!

I guess you can at least take me off your reserved list (for the moment anyway!) after my unexpected birthday present on Sun. Day 4 - Bruce and her 4 babies are doing well so far....fingers crossed it stays that way!

Babies finally here!!

5 babies so far - 1 dead , 4 alive

this is her first litter, so quite good so far even though one has sadly died.

Will keep you all updated.

Congratulations Tammy! So sorry to hear that one of the little pups didn't make it but at least it sounds like the other 4 are strong and healthy. Not bad for a first time mum! Keeping my fingers crossed for you all. (This hamster pup business is agonising, isn't it? I don't know how you cope with this on a regular basis - I'm a basket case!)

xx

Congratulations Tammy and new Mum!
Sad to hear one didnt make it, but as we both know, it is natures way, and 5 seems a lot for a first time robo Mum to cope with. Hopefully the four little ones will soon be fluffed up and running Mum ragged!
