Re: *Flynn's Thread*
He`s such a lovely wee guy I wish I could get my Rocky to sit like that! The oats and buckwheat are available from Tesco. I buy the Tesco organic jumbo porridge oats (black bag in the porridge section) and the buckwheat is in a smaller bag, usually where the lentils and nuts are in store. Buckwheat is nutritious and can be fed straight from the bag dry, or soaked overnight in cold water to soften it. Handly for when you have an ill or old hamster as it can be mixed with banana and oats or other mixtures.
Healthfood shops will also sell these but may be more costly. I just buy mine while I`m grocery shopping in Tesco! The oats are always a big hit and the first thing to go from the food dish! They are both complex carbohydrate foods.

Re: *Flynn's Thread*
He`s enjoying his mealy! I stick my head over the top of my gabber rex when Rocky is darting about and he will tease the hell out of me by sitting nomming on his millet spray while I chat away to him but if I blink an eye, he darts off under his shelf!
I`m really enjoying having a little robo again. They are really endearing little hamsters and their aloof nature is all part of their character I guess, although some (like Flynn) are a bit more forthcoming that others! I`m hoping my Rocky eventually accepts that I`m not going to eat him!
