Thanks for all the information!
Will probably start getting a few bits together when I do my next pet order from Zooplus. They sell loads of sweet little cabin-type things etc on there.
I can imagine them being entertaining - the spiny mice are like that - they zoom about like maniacs, lol! Very funny to watch.
If you do get a Perfecto tank I'd love to see pics of how it's set up. It would be lovely to see a Robo in a tank in terms of sheer 'fun-to-watch' value I would think. I think a Robo' tank / Rody would go really well in our living room, but not sure John would agree! :P

Unfortunately for me it did sell
There's one on ebay in Sheffield and one in Kingswinford - unfortunatly if I get either of these I might as well get a new one 'cos of petrol costs (unless Will can convince his dad to pick up the Sheffield one for us!).
I looked at the new ones today in our local petshop - they had the giant one (wow!) but I really liked the look of the 72cm 3 shelf one for Bean

Hmmm...interesting! What size is it, Matty - and how many shelves? What would you be looking to swap it for?

Aw Julie, I wish I'd known. For once, I actually had quite a lot of cash on me last week and I would have gladly got it for you.

Bless you Gill
The annoying thing is I've been paid some back pay I was owed so could have bought it this week, no bother
Anyway, Matty - your tank sounds really good but I think I need to get one for Bean sooner rather than later, he needs more space. I can appreciate that you can't get it to a show via public transport!!!!!
BTW I am bringing bean tomorrow. I've spent this week walking round with him and we are both quite good at it now so I'm going to see how he is. Of course he could freak out as everything will be so new to him so we'll have to see - Leanne you'll see him again!

Bean was star on Saturday and didn't leap off (I think he'd have struggled to get away from Dave and Anita the pet judges!). He came third in male Pet hamsters - am definitely bringing him to Topcliffe and if he's ok there he's going in racing too!
Now I just need to find him a tank.
