Are you trying to get them out for taming or just for play time? If for the latter, there's no need to wake them up--they'll play on their own accord.
Yes, they don't like bright lights, so if you could have a table lamp illuminate your room, pointed onto a wall, you'll see that she won't try to hide so much. Alternatively red bulb light is good too.
If you wake her up gently by ruffling some bedding in front of her nest, it's better, but I wouldn't just grab her right after. Morning snuggles are better in this case. She might also change her schedule completely at some point. All my hams have changed theirs over time, more than once. One of mine also gets up after 1-2 at night and is awake until 3-4pm, though she started changing to an earlier schedule.
P.S.: if she actually falls asleep on you, that's very good! Mine are rarely sleepy enough to do that
