Re: Robo girl :(
Did you changed something in the cage? Or did you maybe use an unusual aroma/perfume/smell in the room, like a candle, an air fresher etc? That are the two things i can imagine why she may be nervous- but sure other people will have more ideas :'D

Re: Robo girl :(
As Emily said, she's nervous but not necessarily for any bad/dangerous reason. I've had robos being more friendly then suddenly scared, then back to friendly and relaxed. They are just naturally prone to being nervous around humans, so if yours is not tame, and you haven't had her for a long time, she's probably just shy.

Re: Robo girl :(
Heyy x i have had her for ages maybe about a year she doesnt like to be handled she has always been like this beleave me i have tried to tame but nup she wont have it lol also i havent changed nothing in her cage or anythin at all different. She is eating and drinking and on the wheel she just seems to be scared of me all of a sudden. As some of you already know she was bullied from her 3 sisters and was seperated a while ago do yous think lonlyness could be kicking in but that was a while back the seperation x

Re: Robo girl :(
Hmm maybe the separation from her sisters has taken it's toll?.
Robos are naturally timid and sometimes really do loathe been handled.

Re: Robo girl :(
I really dont no what to do. I just tried calling her and nothing. Its such a sudden change from taking food from me to not even coming out when i call on her i started a thread a while bk about getting her a friend do you think maybe its time to do this i know that its better to get a baby as adults rarely dont accept babies.

Re: Robo girl :(
Separation would definitely change her behavior. One of my robos who was separated from her cage mate became a lot more nervous and scared and would not go near my hands for a long time after the separation. I did get two babies for her eventually, keeping in mind that the introduction could go badly and I'd end up with two extra hamsters living separately. I think I'd only take this step if you think your hamster is unhappy--not to make her more receptive to handling. In fact, I bother my new robo trio very little, trying to avoid invading their peace with my smell and extra stress.
