Re: A Grand Unified Thread of Robo photos (my gang)
Leela and Big Girl are so sweeeet, I nearly squealed out loud today when I saw them drink together again. They got up at the same time mid-day to have some water and stretch their legs. Leela does the squinty eye slow drinking, like she's an old lady hehe (she's not even one year old). The Big Girl followed her around like a tail, and I think Leela likes it. I think they are in love hehe. It's completely adorable.
Their drinking bowl (shaped like a leaf) is in the front right corner of the aquarium, right next to my chair, so I can really watch them well. There was a soggy piece of Carefresh in it (before the daily water change)--I hope they didn't mind!!

Re: A Grand Unified Thread of Robo photos (my gang)
Hrm, well, I change their sand pretty frequently when it's washed play sand. Past few weeks they've been on dusty Critter Bath Powder that I thankfully replaced tonight with a fresh batch of play sand (finally got a replacement 50lb bag, woot). The powder does get them clean, but boy is it dusty... certainly not healthy for long term use, in my opinion. The aquarium walls near their wheels is covered in a thin layer of grayish dust every day, and I wipe it off frequently! That's how badly dusty that stuff is. I've noticed that in general they didn't get very clean with just the play sand compared to this bath powder, so I periodically mix them together if they get a bit greasy. It doesn't happen often though, and I think maybe Carefresh-type bedding plays some role in soaking up oils (I always use that kind).
