Arrow Hmmm cookie and crumble fighting?

I have only had cookie and crumble (male robos) since yesterday and they seem to be play fighting all the time! No biting each other or squeeking but they are boxing each other. Cookie always had her pouches full which is worrying me. They seem to sleep together and run on their wheel together though. Hmm seperation yet?

I wouldnt worry too much about it just yet, robos love to box each other Cookie and Truffle used to do it a lot when they were younger and still do occasionally and Kiku and Jení also do it lots, as long as there is no biting or squeeking it will just be for fun
As for the pouching I cant be sure but maybe its simply because he is worried of being moved again and has food pouched just incase? Maybe another member can explain it

i dont think theres any need to separate them at the moment, sometimes pip and pop playfight which is fine, but sometimes it moves on a little and starts to get rough but they always end up best friends again I'd wait till they're mature, especially as they're new with new surroundings, they're probably just nervous. Boxing hehe sapphire and topaz used to do that to each other, but as they were separated i cant say much ^^ x

Don't panic yet, my baby boys are all wrestling with each other at the moment too, it's part of growing up. Even Dasher who is over twice the size and three times the weight of his boys is letting them knock him over and jump all over him. He's being very patient bless him.

Do keep an eye that it doesn't get out of hand, or one is getting chased and pinned constantly, or showing signs of stress. I did do a separation this week for that reason.

they are now fighting alot of the time now and squeeking and sometimes biting each other. My parents say they havent had time to settle in yet so to see how they go for the next few days. Im worried that they might get injured...

Hmm maybe do give them a few days but the first sign of injury/blood/etc I would separate them (im sure you would do anyway )

As a pointless tidbit I have just realised that your hamsters have the same middle and last name of my Cookie as her full name is Galaxy Cookie Crumble after my favourite chocolate bar

Oh I have another tip for you as well :L See if you can find what they are fighting over if its a toy or something and remove it for a few days, scrub it clean then put it back if they calm down. Cookie & Truffle started fighting reccently and I discovered it was over their two new wheels so I took them out and they are back to their lovey selves again

I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to keep my robo girls together. I tried various cage arrangements and even moved them to a huge aquarium, but to no avail If one of them decided she didn't want a roommate, that's how it was despite any toys. I do think going about general guidelines discussed in various threads here is good as a precaution: like having an open nest, not many toys, and sprinkle food all over the cage. You could try moving their wheels closer or farther apart from each other too.
