Hmmmmm....another robo?
So, Phoebe and Delilah fought about a month ago. They are separated and doing well.
Delilah is happy as a clam in her ten gallon with her sandbath, honey log, wheel, flying saucer and extra bedding. She doesn't like me, and she doesn't like Phoebe. But poor little Phoebe misses companionship I think. Her taming has come a long way, she doesn't like being picked up but once I have her picked up, she will sit for about 10 seconds and I can do the 'run through your hands thing' with her. Delilah is very dominant and Phoebe is submissive (Delilah attacked Phoebe, Phoebe didn't even fight back) but although it wouldn't happen for a long while, would it be bad to get Phoebe another friend to introduce her to?
I don't know, it's just a spur of the moment idea. Opinions! Ideas! Pleeeeeease

I dont see why not..? If shes feeling lonley, then I think it would be best to get another. But im no robo expert! But do you have an extra cage just in case things dont go so well?

You might as well give it a go As long as you have the space to house the 3rd robo if it doesn't go to plan

Re: Hmmmmm....another robo?
Some hamsters do really enjoy the company of others The only problem is, you can't guarrantee that the 'friend' you get for her will agree
As long as your prepared to have 3 housed seperately then thats fine. A split cage method would be the safest option.
If you haven't seen this already, then this should help

Re: Hmmmmm....another robo?
Why not upgrade Delilah's cage before getting another hamster? A 10 gallon is too small for any hamster.

Re: Hmmmmm....another robo?
Delilah is very nervous, and doesn't particularly love open spaces. She really didn't like the bin cage and seems happiest in the aquarium. I have another bin for her, but she seems to like the aquarium better. IDK, she's weird :P
