I thought I'd update you.

So far *touching wooden desk as she says it* they haven't had any more fights. All has been relatively quiet in the robo tank and there have been no more injuries. Tango's bum is slowly healing up and now only has a bald patch with a couple of small red marks.

So for now we are keeping them together and keeping our fingers crossed that we can continue to do so.

i probably would've separated them having seen that wound to be honest. keep a very close eye on them as it could turn nasty again. i had a pair that were fine and then suddenly they flew at each other and one was seriously injured. if i hadn't been there at the time he could've been killed.

as with introducing, this often appears to be successful at frst, but on 5 occasions with completely different robos i've had it fail after the first month and one hamster get injured. i have decided that i'll never introduce again unless they are 2 babies

The good news is that they are getting on great again. The wound has healed fine, Tango has a hairy bum again, and we haven't heard any noises or fights since the big incident.

I am glad that we didn't separate them as they clearly enjoy being together and I think they would be lonely if they were alone. I honestly don't think they are going to have any more problems
