Default Still can't tell them apart!

I'm feeling quite ashamed that having had our robos for two and a half weeks I still can't tell them apart

The worst thing is that after a few days we could as one had a smaller eyebrow than the other and was smaller and shyer always coming out of the nest after her sister had had a good look around first. But magicly the eyebrow grew, they got more confident and now we can't tell the difference.

Everytime I think I've got it sussed I look at them from a different angle or they do something which changes my mind again.

I know that with same coloured rats a lot of people dye the base of their tails (as they don't clean them very well) but I'm not keen on trying that with a robo in case I accidentally dye half their fur!

Are we destined to not be able to identify our littluns?!

I was the same I must admit especially until they mature which can take a good few months with Roborovski - one day you have it sussed the next that tuft of hair is gone... It gets better with experience but I know plenty of people who still can't tell one of theirs from the other. I don't think they mind really so don't fret to much

At least it's not just me!

I've never really figured out the whole posting of photos thing as we have dial up at home so it never seems to work unfortunately.

Am planning on trying to get a good piccie of the two of them next to each other (easier said than done) so that I can compare them for as long as it takes to spot the difference.

Not sure if this'll work as I'm a bit of a technofobe...

eta: Wow it worked...oh wish I had broadband at home!

Is a bit out of focus I'm afraid as they're really hard to get good pictures of.

Awww so sweet. Does one look slightly larger and have bigger eyebrows? Clutching at straws here. It is hard to tell them apart

At least it's not just us!

I'm really pleased with how they've come on in such a short period of time. We had expected them to be barely handlable but once you've picked them up they are pretty calm and one even seems to enjoy being gently stroked.

I think it's going to take a bit more time to tell them apart. Maybe I could just pretend that I know which is which when they are introduced to people

They are absolutely adorable, I can't believe how cute they are! I saw two Robo's today in the Pet's Corner of a park we visit - they were asleep, curled up together but near the top of the bedding so they could be seen, they looked really snuggly and lovely (probably the only time they are still!!).

*mental note to self - we are not getting Robo's
