Default Re: I'm scared to take him out the cage

Hi everyone. Sorry for the late reply. I have started just letting him run around on my bed (after making sure the area was safe, blocked off anywhere he might fall down etc). It has really helped our bond as he enjoys climbing on me and lets me pet him. The trouble is whereas he used to always try to escape his pen, now he always tries to go to the places I don't want him to go. He gets quite determined and sometimes I let him explore a bit more if it's safe and I'm watching closely (at the end of my bed is a pile of clothes and blankets and stuff) but yeah it is like he is always trying to escape. Maybe it's just in his nature to want to explore more? Maybe I should get more toys. I do have a maze which I hide treats in for him, but more toys would probably keep him interested for longer.
