Her bin cage looks nice. She would probably be very happy to have another house or hide, even if you makeone from cardboard. They love lots of places to hide and to sleep.

Her sand bath should be about an inch deep at least so she can scratch around and roll about a bit.

You're doing a great job so far.

I'd second the suggestions you've already received: especially when it comes to extra hides and deep substrate - Cadmium might just have been an unusually nervous hamster (not that you'd know it now) but she became SO much more confident and outgoing when I gave her deep substrate to burrow in and a couple more hides. Personally I have found that of my two hamsters (a dwarf and a syrian) Cadmium (dwarf) definitely likes a "cluttered" cage and is less likely to use her full cage if there's too much open space. As long as there's space for her to move around, she definitely prefers lots of "stuff" in her cage, so that might be something to consider.

As far as sand baths... I've never seen a living thing get *so* excited about sand... and I work with small children. Definitely, definitely offer a sand bath, even if it's just a small one.
