Recommendations Please :)
Hi All,
I was wondering what best playpens for russian dwarfs are as I dont want to risk buying one whos bar spacing is too wide for them. Any recommendations?
Also must be collapsible for storage
Thanks

Re: Recommendations Please :)
If you have the time and effort you can make playpens as big as you'd like without worrying about bar space all you need is cardboard boxes and some masking tape, plenty of tutorials on Youtube.
If not pets at home have a decent sized playpen and the bars are the same width as you'd find on any standard cage. They can be pricey and you can sometimes find the same ones but cheaper on amazon I would take note of the pen size from pets at home as it is perfect for dwarfs and robos.

I made the stylish playpen from a you tube video. It has solid sides (small triangle hole in the corners) and folds up.
I put hides, tubes etc in the cornerstone deter chewing where the holes are. My Russian hams and my robo haven’t escaped yet.

Zooplus is a good place to buy playpens at a good price, they do have a minimum order though so you would need to stock up on a few other things too, not so hard!
This metal one is good & easy to fold flat & this wooden one is a good alternative.
The stylish playpen CMB mentioned is a good option, very easy to make, you can make it almost any size you like & it's easy to fold up & put away.
I've also made one with sheets of correx, just cut four pieces to the size you want, make a small hole in each corner, join with cable ties & job done! That folds flat easily too.

Re: Recommendations Please :)
You can fill the playpen with similar things that you'd use in the cage, a wheel, tubes (cardboard is fine) little hideouts (again cardboard is fine) egg boxes are usually loved by them, just cut a small hole at each end, put some substrate in & hide a few treats in it!
There's a playpen thread here somewhere, if I can find it...
Here Let's see your playpens!
