adopting a campbell *Update - he's here*
Ok so it's from pets at home's adoption centre but he is just so cute and irresistable that I just had to take him home, however.....
the papers to adopt him weren't anywhere to be found and since legally i can't adopt an animal on the day that it is given to pets at home as it needs to go through 24 hours of quarantine....
anyways to cut a long story short my other half is going to get him after work today and they'll be pictures up of him.
He's called Scooby and he's 4 months old. I wanted to ask some campbells breeders (as it's been a long while since i have had them) is it too late to give him a friend??
**we picked up Scooby this afternoon, pictures are on the 1st pg

Re: adopting a campbell
Oooooh! It's you who's adopting wee Scooby, I'm glad he's getting a great new home! I work there and was trying to help the guy who served you to find the papers, but yeah, they did a vanishing act.

Re: adopting a campbell
wow, he actually looks like a campbells, too. I've never seen anything in pets at home other than hybrids of a WW-looking variety.
I wouldn't introduce a friend. If it was a pure campbells you'd have more chance, but you don't know what % of WW is in there and you wouldn't know that about the "friend" you'd buy either.

Re: adopting a campbell
hey, we adopted a dwarf hamster from pets at home last week, im so proud of him already. we went in there on a whim to look around and came out with a brand new hamster and cage (ive never had a hamster before) best thing ive done for ages, i can watch him play for hours is that a little sad? haha. i wanted to know whether i could introduce a friend to but we were advised against it, being its to late now. good luck with scooby!!
